Donmueang Airport is located in the northern part of Bangkok. Travelling with Taxis is the most convenient method to get to Bangkok City Center. 1. Uber; one of the world’s most famous taxi applications. Calling UberX and UberBlack from (to) the airport to (from) anywhere in Bangkok will cost you 300 Thai Baht and 1,000 Thai Baht respectively (toll is excluded). Payment is made by credit card.

2. Grab; a regional taxi application which is Uber’s main competitor. The fare for GrabTaxi is similar to calling a normal taxi (as it is a normal taxi) plus 25 Thai Baht. Payment is made directly to the driver. They also have an Uber-like service called GrabCar. Its pricing table can be found below (updated 12 December 2015);

At the arrival platform, there will be notice boards giving direction to Donmueang Train Station. It terminates at Bangkok Station (Hualumphong Train Station) which is near Hualumphong MRT Station.

Operating Time: Daily, around 3am to 11pm. It is recommended to check train schedule at first.

Travel Time: Approximately 50-90 minutes from Donmueang Train Station to Bangkok Station (Hualumphong Train Station).

Tickets: The fare for rapid trains is around 100-170 Thai Baht (please check with the staff at the train station again). Transfer between Airports

You can take a free bus from Donmuaeng Airport to Suvarnabhumi Airport at Passenger Terminal on the 1st Floor. The service is available from 5am to 12am (midnight).
