Roast is now located in one of the most talkabout community malls in Bangkok, The Commons. This café offers some of the best coffee in the city. This includes espresso-based coffee like cappuccino, caffe latte and iced caffe mocha. They also have filtered coffee and signature coffee drinks like iced espresso latte and affogato.

Roast is also well known for its high-quality comfort food made with fresh ingredients, especially their brunch menus, including egg benedicts, American pancakes and French toast. Roast is particularly crowded during weekends. I recommend you to arrive there before 11am so that you don’t have to wait in the queue for so long.

This is a hip and trendy café in Town in Town area of Bangkok. Café Now is popular for their drink menu, especially coffee that they selected from high-quality roasters like Brave Roasters, Roots and Ristr8to from Chiang Mai. Ginger latte is one of their signature drinks.

Apart from their hip industrial design, this café surprisingly serves many yummy Thai dishes such as fried pork belly, nam prik kapi (chili paste) with vegetables and rice with mackerel (kao maew). Café Now also has outdoor space where you could enjoy lovely weather while tasting their delicious food and beverages.

Punnawithi area has now become one of the popular locations for foreigners living / visiting Bangkok due to its lower cost of living comparing to the city center. Tinpresso is a small café with casual atmosphere tucked in a small alley in Sukhumvit 101/1 Road (Punnawithi BTS Station).

The cafe is famous for its coffee drinks. The barista / owner is very friendly and in love with coffee. He also has advanced latte art skill, so you could choose the art on your cup however you like. This Bangkok café also offers many other types of drinks, including matcha latte, hot chocolate and iced tea.

If you’re around Rangsit area and looking for a place to relax and enjoy nice beverages, I recommend you to visit Nat’s Heartmade Coffee. This charming café is nicely decorated with distinctive vintage items. It offers many interesting drinks and desserts. Nat Heartmade Coffee’s signature drinks include Sudanrume, premium coffee that won the 2015 World Barista Championship contest, Esmeralda tea made with local herbs, iced macadamia latte and milk tea frappe. You should also try their tasty desserts like mango and mandarin cheesecake. In case you’re hungry, the café also has a small number of savory dishes for you.

Jaywalk café is part of the lovely coffee scene along Phra Arthit Road. It offers yummy comfort food and drinks at reasonable prices. The café is famous for their pancakes with extensive options for toppings, including strawberry Nutella pancakes and blueberry cream cheese pancakes. For coffee, you could order classic cup like regular coffee and drip coffee or you could order something more exciting like crème brulee latte.

This Bangkok café also serves non-coffee drinks which are very popular among youngsters such as blue passion pop, apple soda pop and rose lychee pop.

As a SCUBA diving lover, I was attracted to the Ocean Brew as soon as I set foot in this lovely café. The Ocean Brew is an extension of a family-owned SCUBA diving school and it is decorated with many ocean-inspired items. This café serves various unique drinks and snacks. I really enjoyed their Ocean Blue Velvet, a blueberry cream cheese chiffon cake and the Thai silk cake with vanilla sauce. Their delicious beverages include a range of coffee drinks and non-coffee drinks like passionate peach.

Located on Sukhumvit 39, the Ocean Brew is a bit difficult to find. However, once you finally arrive there, you will be charmed by this lovely small café.

8. Mont Nomsod (มนต์นมสด)

Bangkokians have been enjoying this legendary café for more than 4 decades. Mont Nomsod’s first branch is located next to the Bangkok City Hall in the old town. This famous café is well-known for its toasts with a large variety of toppings, including condensed milk with sugar, taro paste, steamed custard, corn and jam. It is also famous for their milk-based drinks like iced pink and green milk, Thai iced tea and iced cocoa. I recommend you to go there with some friends so you could order a number of their scrumptious selections and share them together.

Dubbed one of the most famous cafes in Bangkok, Mont Nomsod is the place not to be missed!

    Can you advice any GOOD COFFEE cafe to go (in town) on 15th April 2017, Saturday night ?
    As i know it’s going to be Songkra Festival all over the town
    (not knowing whether those well-known & famous cafe open or close )
