The BTS currently has 2 main lines namely Silom Line and Sukhumvit line which both link different busy parts of Bangkok together. Sukhumvit line starts from Samut Prakarn province through Sukhumvit road linked onward to Paholyothin Road in the Northern Part of Bangkok while the Silom line starts from the National Stadium crossing the Chao Praya river to Thonburi area and ends at Bang Wa station.

1. Street food near BTS station in Bangkok
Beside easy food inside BTS stations, you can also find famous Thai street food around each station i.e. grilled skewer pork with sticky rice, fried or grilled meat/pork/fish balls, fried chicken and fried salted pork, ready-to-eat fresh fruits and assorted sandwiches. The food comes in good price but the cleanliness varies, so you have to look closely and choose wisely.

Most stand-alone restaurants are located inside sub-streets called ‘Soi’ in Thai language but some are located on main roads. Recommended restaurants which are easily accessed via main roads include;

BTS route goes along main roads in Bangkok where a number of shopping malls are located. Most of the malls have famous restaurant chains including international and American fast food restaurants serving burgers, pizzas, donuts, coffee and ice cream.
Thai restaurant chains are also available in these malls including MK Sukiyaki, SeeFah, S&P and After You dessert café. These malls are also home of Japanese restaurant chains e.g. Fuji and Zen, as well as Korean cuisine restaurants i.e. Sukhishi BBQ and Bon Chon fried chicken. Some of them also have Wine I Love you, House of Beer (HOBS).

Near Asoke BTS Station, there is Terminal 21, home of the first Michelin-star Dim Sum restaurant, Tim Ho Wan.
Near Phrom Phong BTS station, high-end Em Quartier and the Emporium are located there. They both have direct access to the BTS station. Rain Hill Community Mall is also not too far away from the station.
Near Chidlom BTS station, there is Central World shopping mall and its happening Groove zone which has hip restaurants and bars. Nearby you can also find Central Chidlom, Central Embassy and Mercury ville.
