Vesper is a chic and hip Italian restaurant with superb cocktail bar. It’s one of the hottest restaurants in Silom area. Vesper serves contemporary Italian dishes with high quality ingredients from all over the world. I love their homemade pasta dishes! Vesper is definitely popular for its delicious and creative cocktails. I’m impressed with their mixologists. They know their stuff. You could just tell them what you like in a drink and they will mix something delicious for you. High quality ingredients also come with rather high price but for me Vesper is absolutely worth a visit!

Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant is located on the 37th floor of Pullman Bangkok Hotel G. As one of the best rooftop bars & restaurants in Bangkok, Scarlett combines a stunning view of the Chaophraya river with mouth-watering French cuisine and an extensive wine and drink list. With its chill out atmosphere, it’s one of my favorite rooftop bars in the city. I also enjoy their tapas which goes really well with their good quality yet affordable wine. Scarlett is beautifully and elegantly designed. It’s a wonderful place for a date or a gathering with friends!

Naj offers some of the best authentic Thai dishes in the city. The restaurant reflects the beautiful art of Thai culinary and culture. It is located in a beautiful hundred-year old colonial style house in the heart of Convent Road. Some of my favorite dishes are appetizer sampler, duck red curry, pomelo salad and stir-fried seabass fillet. If you’re looking for a fine Thai restaurant with exquisite atmosphere, you should visit Naj. It’s perfect for an elegant business dinner or a special date.

Thanying is a charming small Thai restaurant hidden in Silom area. The restaurant offers Royal Thai cuisine. But don’t be afraid, the dishes are not overly complicated. They use only fresh ingredients and decorate their dishes elegantly. The food is delicious and the service is attentive. The restaurant is priced in the medium range which makes it very good value for such a great meal. It may be a bit difficult to find the restaurant but there is a parking available on site.

Kalpapruek is one of the long-standing Thai restaurants in Silom. With its “feeling like home” atmosphere, people from all generations like to come enjoy authentic Thai food at this restaurant. Apart from the delicious Thai dishes, such as beef green curry, kanom jeen (fermented rice noodle with spicy fish puree and coconut milk) and many more, a lot customers come back to Kalpapruek again and again for their scrumptious bakery. Some of my favorite includes very moist chocolate cake, blueberry pie and coffee raisin cake!

Taling Pling is a popular Thai restaurants well-known among tourists and locals. They serve traditional and creative Thai dishes. Taling Pling has several branches in the city but the one in Silom is their original branch. All of their branches have homely and relaxing environment. It’s one of the best place in Bangkok to taste full-flavored Thai dishes. You could find all kinds of Thai food here, including dishes from southern and central part of the country. The price is very reasonable.
